    Music is a bit loud for the average age of the clientele I think. This has always been a more mature crowd. "The Clipper" is one of Ankeny's oldest bars, if not the oldest. It hasn't changed much in the many many years it's been open. Typical age is 30+
    Good place to meet friends.
    Outdoor patio is nice during the warmer months as the music isn't anywhere near as loud.
